Hi,
That's a good one of your dear old Mum and Vic in the little photo as well.

Thanks for mentioning Vic John, he was not wearing his old cheesecutter so I didn't recognize him. He was a well liked character that did no harm to anyone.

He sure was Jim, maybe we can get Ray Shelvey to post some photos of him and our mates on Cuckoo Ave too.

Also that's a great picture of Flossie with Brenda Fields at the reunion.

Hi all, glad to see some of you remember Uncle Vic. 'Protector' of the church in Cuckoo Ave and often seen helping in the greegrocers on the corner of Bordars Road or collecting glasses at the White Hart pub. My nan Beatrice is also in the photo. The funny thing about her is she looked the same in every photo throughout her life. Her hair was always in two long plaits over her head and she wore a wrap around apron - always. I remember her having her little box of snuff by her side and sitting at the front room window of 95, Cuckoo where she lived for most of her life.

Forgot to say in the last comment the other photo is of my mum and my lovely dad in their early days. Dad is sadly no longer with us, but missed always.
