I spoke on the phone to John Jenkins this afternoon and he told me that his mother, our oldest Cuckooite, had her 103rd birthday yesterday, so a big, but belated birthday greeting to her. Del

Hi Del I was talking to my sister-in-law today, I mentioned your name and she said she knows you from Greatdown Rd. You might might not remember her because there is a big age gap. Her name was Christene O'Connor.

It's all lies, I tell you, I didn't even know that you had a sister-in-law. But seriously, the name rings a bell, did she have a brother? Del.

Hi Del yes she has a brother Richard he is 72 now.

Jim, did they live at the lower end of Greatdown, possible no' 19 or 20? My mate, Michael Moran would have lived opposite there. Del

No they lived at No' 66 she said her little sister aged
5 was killed outside the White Hart in 1953, perhaps you might remember that.

Jim, no, I don't remember that, but I might have still been in France then. If they lived at number 66 they must have been somewhere near to Grace, I guess that she would know about it. Del.
