I recognize Mr. Middleton, but seem to remember Davy having very dark hair. When was the picture taken? Apart from that, do you recall one of the girls saying that she had been in a fight on Scotch Common?

Hi Beryl, great photos,I remember Mr Davey and Miss Keen.Mr Bradford was the manager when I worked there, and of course I remember Fred Kemsley from your second photo, him and his wife Eady lived next door to us when we moved into the house in the yard. When the yard in Broomfield Rd was closed, Fred got a milk job in Marlow,I was transfered to Pitshanger lane depot.Plenty to talk about at reunion

Hi George
Just found your message..now do you remember the dates you were at the U.D.as I'm trying really hard to remember if I would have known you .Driving me mad.I Left in about Aug or Sept 1962 after I had got married in the June.I was then doing the cashier job as Freda had left.

To Del
cant remember date of photo but I would think middle to late 50's.cant remember any one having a fight.I was the one who lived nearest Scotch Common.

Beryl, I won't go into the reason for the fight, but I was crossing Scotch Common with my girlfriend, who eventually became my ex-wife and, as we passed one of the girls from the office, sitting on a bench with her boyfriend, the girl made a remark and my girl attacked her. I thought it would be all over the depot the following day, but it was never mentioned. Del.

Hi Del
Just remembered I was'nt the one who lived nearest Scotch Common but she was quieter than me.Were they fighting over you?????????wow
I always wanted boys to fight over me.Mine was and still is a pacifist.Never mind.I must say I am no longer shy or quiet.
Beryl.

Hi Beryl,I started at the UD around late(Oct/Nov)1957,I worked there untill that depot closed(1966)and was transfered to Hanger lane depot I stayed there for about 1 year, befor I got a milk job and house under the London overspill scheme in a place that nobody knows called Haverhill in Suffolk.I will delve through my snaps and see if I have got any of my days on the milk, computer playing up so will bring them to the reunion

No, not over me. The girl made a remark, as a joke, and my girl, who was always extremely jealous, took it the wrong way. Del.
