October update,

Hi Cuckooites it has been a rough two weeks since returning from the Reunion, what with jet lag and the 20 hour journey to get home and the cold I brought back with me.What I need is a time capsule so I can whisk my way to London without the 8hour time difference.I used to be able to do it standing on my head and be back to normal in a couple of days.but are those days gone.Well just to let you know Sue and I will be gone starting tomorrow on a 16 day vacation and cruise. We are going to sail up to Quebec Canada from New Jersey for 14days of total relaxation, good food ,great entertainment and take in the wonderful ports of call on the way.I have chosen not to take my laptop so I will not be monitoring the website or posting any features I feel I need a break to be honest.
I will be back on duty around the 1st November until then I leave you in the capable hands of Jim Davis .
I hope in the mean time Flossie continuous to improve and when I get back the news is all positive.
Until then Bon Voyage Tommy

( MY MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT.)

 I hope you don't mind but I thought while the cat is away the mice can play. With all that is going on in the lives of some of our friends at the moment, I thought how about giving them/us something to smile at, and use this page for people to tell us about;

Fw: He's My Brother - This is Priceless

Subject: He's My Brother - This is Priceless

Two young boys walked into a pharmacy one day, picked out a box of tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter.

The man at the counter asked the older boy, "Son, how old are
you?"

"Eight," the boy replied.

The man continued, "Do you know what these are used for?"

The boy replied, "not exactly, but they aren't for me. They're for
him. He's my brother. He's four. We saw on TV that if you use
these you would be able to swim and ride a bike. Right now, he
can't do either."

Please pray for Flossie(Shelvey) Boyce

I recieved this email from Lynn Flossie's daughter this morning informing me that her Mom had a stroke over the weekend. Many of us where with the Flossie and the Shelvey clan at the Reunion just a week a go.Let us all pray she is comfortable and makes a speedy recovery.

This Years Reunion

Hi Cuckooites all over the world,
I am now back home in Seattle safe and sound after attending our 4th Reunion last Saturday night .What a turn out, you all did us proud, again I do not know how we did it but everyone raved what a wonderful night we all had.We keep raising the bar as I believe, as many who attended , this one was our crowning achievement as Reunions go.The hall was a blast of red white and blue and we have to thank Jackie Ferguson who had the insight and desire to turn the room into a hall full of color and excitement. The flower arrangements that Jackie brought where magnificent and where then part of the grand raffle,we had so many gifts to give away we needed to in the end let folks choose two gifts to speed the raffle along.Again thank you all for your generosity we raised 261 pounds for future events.Thank you Ron and Jean Poland who sold the raffle tickets.
I want to thank all of you who turned up at the hall Saturday afternoon to help set up you really made it easy for Jackie and me I will not try to name you all as I am sure I will miss someone and would not want to offend you.The weather was wonderful a lovely fall September day and the gang enjoyed the entertainment of Christopher Columbus this man had us singing and dancing the night away. The banquet food was marvelous with plenty for all and the bring your own bottle a great success. Many of those attending where there for their first reunion and we did them proud ,no one wanted the evening to end but we finished up with a great rendition of we'll meet again and Old Lang Sine.Thank you all for helping to clean up the hall.
We are hoping to hold the next one in April or September 2011 and I am hoping someone will step forward to help Jackie organize it as I am not sure if my body will allow many more trips across the pond with all the work that has to be done before I arrive and then more once I get there, but we have plenty of time to think about that Please if any of you have photo's you have taken of the event please send them to me as I want to put a photoshow and D V D together of the Reunion.
Please try to tell me who are in the photo's it helps so much when we put the names to the faces.

Again a night to cherish and remember as Cuckooites from all over the world came together to have a fun evening and reminisce where our roots came from

Thanks again Tommy and Jackie.
